We are seeking a dynamic and innovative account manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with a proven track record in managing high-profile clients across both consumer and business sectors. A deep understanding of the hospitality industry would be a significant advantage.
You will work collaboratively across various accounts and departments, analysing and researching industry and market trends. You must have strong media relations, excellent writing skills, and good pitching abilities. Your role includes maintaining and creating good client relations, monitoring feedback, and ensuring continuous improvement in client deliverables. Additionally, you will ensure contract compliance across the organisation.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement innovative PR strategies that align with client business objectives and drive measurable results.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key media contacts across various platforms.
- Oversee the day-to-day management of client accounts, ensuring timely delivery of deliverables and exceeding client expectations.
- Proactively identify media opportunities and pitch compelling stories that resonate with target audiences.
- Monitor media coverage and analyse its impact on client reputation, providing actionable insights and recommendations.
- Provide strategic counsel to clients on media relations, crisis management, and reputation management.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless execution of PR campaigns and maximise campaign impact.
- A relevant PR/ Comms/ Journalism degree.
- A minimum of five years in PR and comms experience.
- 4-7 years in B2B or tech client management.
- Agency experience would be an advantage.
- Proven experience as a PR account manager, particularly with a focus on B2B, B2C, or tech clients.
- Strong understanding of the B2B media landscape and the ability to navigate industry-specific publications.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated success in securing consistent media coverage through strategic pitching.
- Ability to manage multiple clients and projects simultaneously.
- Excellent time-management skills.
- Team player with innovative thinking and problem-solving skills.
