Intermediate - Senior SQL DBA/Consultant

Are you a highly skilled SQL Database Administrator looking for your next challenge?
We are seeking an Intermediate to Senior SQL Consultant to join our team and take ownership of SQL support contracts and projects.
If you thrive in a dynamic environment and have a passion for database optimization, administration, and cutting-edge SQL technologies, we want to hear from you!
Key responsibilities:
- SQL Database administration, optimisation and performance tuning
- Incident management and change control
- Disaster recovery planning and backup management
- SQL server patch management and upgrades
- Reporting services (SSRS) and Power BI report development
- Data Warehousing and Azure Data Services (Azure SQL MI, Data Factory, Synapse)
- Always on availability groups and SQL Replication (merge and transactional)
- Capacity planning and security best practices
- 7+ years SQL Server DBA experience
- 4+ years working with SQL 2012/2014/2016/2022
- Hands-on experience with SSIS, SSAS, Power BI, and Azure SQL DB
- Strong knowledge of Transact-SQL, query optimisation, and indexing
- Ability to design and implement Data Warehouses and ETL workflows
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting skills
- Willingness to travel and provide after-hours support when required
