We’re expanding our team and are seeking a detail-oriented professional with a passion for B2B news publishing. This role involves managing content strategy, overseeing the production of news and technical articles, and delivering timely, high-quality, and relevant content to our professional audience.

Key responsibilities:

• Produce industry-specific, newsworthy content that meets audience needs
• Oversee editorial processes and manage a team to ensure high-quality output
• Ensure adherence to deadlines and budgets
• Develop and implement strategic editorial and promotional initiatives
• Manage, plan, and report on freelance costs
• Mentor junior journalists and support their professional growth
• Network with industry stakeholders by attending relevant functions and events

Requirements:

• Proven experience managing news journalists and editing publications; B2B experience is essential
• Ability to identify, write, and edit lead stories for a niche sector
• Tertiary qualification in journalism or communications
• Familiarity with production processes (subbing, proofing, layout)
• Strong writing skills and creative expression in both writing and design
• Willingness to travel as needed; valid passport, driver’s licence, and access to a personal vehicle
