Enrolled Nurses and ENA's

Our client is seeking a trained psychiatric enrolled nurse (EN) for a professional facility based in Berea, KwaZulu-Natal. The ideal candidate must have psychiatric experience and be a strong team player. This is an urgent role with an immediate start.

• Provide effective patient care with a sound knowledge of psychiatric conditions, treatments, medications and risk prevention.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date nursing documentation on a daily basis.
• Perform daily nursing tasks, including monitoring clients at mealtimes, monitoring clients with eating disorders, and monitoring clients at risk of self-harm or suicide.
• Handle all admissions efficiently and professionally, ensuring new clients feel welcomed, safe and settled without delays.
• Undertake any other duties as delegated by the nursing manager.

• Relevant nursing qualification.
• Registered with the South African Nursing Council (SANC).
• Minimum of one year of psychiatric nursing experience.
• Excellent English communication skills.
• Passionate about psychiatric healthcare.
• Strong understanding of psychiatric conditions, treatment, medication and risk prevention.
